Is Tennis the right Fit for me?
Whether you’re a budding amateur the next Andy Murray or Emma Raducanu, there’s no better time to pick up the racquet and get playing. Liverpool clubs offer very sociable, welcoming places to play tennis, the opportunity to meet new people, and the chance to get a little bit fitter. New members of any ability are welcome including complete beginners, clubs can offer coaching and a racquet to get you going.
Is this suitable for me?
Tennis can be played by anyone of any ability or age. The racquets and balls can be adapted to suit beginners right through to experts!
Not Sure Tennis is for you, Try Touch Tennis!
Touch tennis is a modified version of tennis, played on a smaller court with foam balls and 21 inch tennis racquets.

How will it benefit me?

Most clubs will have racquets and tennis balls you can borrow and you can play in any comfortable clothing.

Tennis for Free encourages new people in to the sport of tennis in a fun and safe surrounding. Sessions are split in to Parent and Child, 'beginners' and 'improvers' groups - so you'll get the opportunity to meet and play with people at a similar level to you. Local session run at Mersey Bowmen Tennis Courts 10.00am to 11.30pm on Sundays.

With an impressive range of six indoor and six outdoor tennis courts, the Liverpool Tennis Centre offers competition-quality courts for players of all skill levels. Better yet, with disabled access and child-friendly classes, the Liverpool Tennis Centre strives to share the joys of tennis with everyone.
Liverpool Parks Tennis
If you fancy grabbing a racquet and heading off to the park with a friend, you can book a court FREE at either Sefton Park or Princes Park outdoor courts or at one of the clubs listed. Just visit the Lawn Tennis Association and find a court near you.
